Your trip to the Crystal Caves on vacation was pretty exciting. There were stalactites, stalagmites, and gorgeous rock patterns. You got to stand in deep darkness after they turned off all the lights forty feet under the earth. Before you left, your tour walked by a colony of bats. Most people were kind of grossed out but you thought they were kind of cute. The fuzzy beasts looked so cozy, sleeping upside down. Well, one of the bats must have caught on to your friendly vibes because it took off and started circling around your head. It has been following you ever since. Some would find this alarming. But having a bat companion has its upside. You haven't had to deal with bug bites all summer!
